2024 US Presidential Election
Biden and Trump Secure Wins in Five State Primaries
Joe Biden and Donald Trump each won primaries in various states including Arizona, Illinois, Kansas, and Ohio. In Illinois, Florida, and Ohio, Biden also secured all of the Democratic delegates due to the cancellation or absence of Republican primaries in those states. Nikki Haley received a fraction of the Republican votes in some of these states. Both Biden and Trump have reportedly secured enough delegates to become their respective party's 2024 presidential nominees according to U.S. media projections.
