US forces destroy five Houthi targets in Yemen, including an underwater drone

The U.S. military reportedly conducted strikes against Iran-backed Houthi militants in the Red Sea, targeting both underwater drones and surface vessels. According to separate reports from US Central Command and Reuters, the strikes destroyed an underwater drone before it could make contact with American vessels, as well as damaging a surface vessel and destroying three mobile anti-ship missile sites. The attacks occurred amid heightened tensions in the region and followed a reported attack on a UK-registered cargo ship off the coast of Yemen.
