One person killed and several others injured in a suspected Houthi drone attack on Tel Aviv

According to reports, Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen claimed responsibility for the rare drone attack on Tel Aviv. However, the Israeli military spokesman stated that Israel's defense systems had picked up the drone, and no air-raid sirens were activated to warn civilians of the attack. The Israeli Air Force identified an approaching drone but did not confirm its origin. Subsequent reports revealed that a Yemeni Houthi rebel drone slipped through Israel's air defense system, penetrating defenses without triggering the city's warning sirens. The Houthis claimed their new drone, called "Yafa," is capable of bypassing enemy interception systems.
