Yarlung Zangbo River

The Yarlung Tsangpo, also known as the Yalu Zangbu River, is a river that flows through the Tibet Autonomous Region of China and Arunachal Pradesh of India. It is the longest river in Tibet and the fifth longest in China, originating at the Angsi Glacier in western Tibet. The river forms the South Tibet Valley and the Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon before passing into Arunachal Pradesh, where it becomes the Siang and later the Brahmaputra after reaching Assam.
