World Expo
A world's fair, also known as a universal exhibition, is a large global exhibition showcasing the achievements of nations. These exhibitions vary in character and are held in different parts of the world at a specific site for a period of time, typically between three and six months. The first world's fair was held in Prague in 1791, and since 1928, the Paris-based Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) has served as an international sanctioning body for international exhibitions, organizing four types of international exhibition: World Expos, Specialized Expos, Horticultural Expos, and the Milan Triennial. The character of world fairs has evolved over time, with three distinct eras: industrialization (1851-1938), cultural exchange (1939-1987), and nation branding.learn more on wikipedia
