Windsor Great Park

Windsor Great Park is a Royal Park of 2,020 hectares, located to the south of the town of Windsor, on the border of Berkshire and Surrey in England. The park dates primarily from the mid-13th century and was the private hunting ground of Windsor Castle for many centuries. It is owned and administered by the Crown Estate, a public body established by Act of Parliament. The park is managed and funded by the Crown Estate and is the only royal park not managed by The Royal Parks. It is a Grade I listed park and a Site of Special Scientific Interest, known for its unique collection of ancient oak trees, including the oldest oak in the United Kingdom, King Offa's Oak, estimated to be 1,300-1,500 years old.learn more on wikipedia
