White House Rose Garden
The White House Rose Garden is a garden located on the grounds of the White House in Washington, D.C. It measures approximately 125 feet long and 60 feet wide, and is commonly used as a stage for receptions and media events. The garden was established in 1913 by Ellen Louise Axson Wilson, and has undergone several renovations over the years, including a major redesign in 1961 by Rachel Lambert Mellon and a renovation in 2020 by Melania Trump. The garden features a variety of plants, including roses, crabapples, and lindens, and is designed in a French formal garden style. The garden has also been the site of various traditions, including the placement of garden gnomes representing the number of living presidents on July 1.learn more on wikipedia
