White House Rose Garden
The White House Rose Garden is a garden located on the grounds of the White House in Washington, D.C. It measures approximately 125 feet long and 60 feet wide, and is commonly used as a stage for receptions and media events. The garden was established in 1913 by Ellen Louise Axson Wilson, and has undergone several renovations over the years, including a major redesign in 1961 by Rachel Lambert Mellon and a renovation in 2020 by Melania Trump. The garden features a variety of plants, including roses, crabapples, and lindens, and is designed in a French formal garden style.
