Washington National Cathedral

The Washington National Cathedral is a Neo-Gothic cathedral of the Episcopal Church located in Washington, D.C. The structure was built under a charter passed by the US Congress in 1893 and took 83 years to complete, with construction starting in 1907 and finishing in 1990. It is the seat of the Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church and the bishop of the Diocese of Washington, and attracts over 270,000 visitors annually.
