US Rodman Naval Station

The PSA Panama International Terminal is a port located at the Pacific entrance to the Panama Canal, built on the site of the former United States Navy Rodman Naval Base. The base was constructed in 1937 and played a significant role in World War II and the Cold War, providing fuel, provisions, and support to military ships passing through the Panama Canal. It was handed over to Panama in 1999 and was subsequently renamed as the Vasco Nuñez de Balboa Naval Base, but was later redeveloped into a port facility by PSA International in 2010.
