Tinker Air Force Base

Tinker Air Force Base is a major United States Air Force base located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, adjacent to Del City and Midwest City. It was originally known as the Midwest Air Depot and was renamed in honor of Major General Clarence L. Tinker, a Native American who was the first major general of Native American descent in U.S. Army history.
