Telugu

Telugu is a classical Dravidian language native to the Indian states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, spoken by about 96 million people as of 2022, and is the 14th most spoken native language in the world. It is one of the twenty-two scheduled languages of the Republic of India and has primary official status in more than one Indian state. Telugu has a rich literary tradition of over a thousand years, with notable works such as Pavuluri Mallana's Sāra Sangraha Ganitamu, a scientific treatise on mathematics.
