TOS-1 thermobaric

The TOS-1 is a Soviet 220mm multiple rocket launcher capable of using thermobaric warheads, mounted on a T-72/T-90 tank chassis. It was designed to attack enemy fortified positions and lightly armored vehicles, and was first used in combat in Afghanistan in 1988-1989. The system's range was extended to 6 kilometers in 2003 with the introduction of the TOS-1A Solntsepyok, and was further improved in 2020 with a new rocket having a range of 10 kilometers.
