Sudetes Mountains
The Sudetes are a geomorphological subprovince of the Bohemian Massif province in Central Europe, shared by the Czech Republic, Poland, and Germany. They consist mainly of mountain ranges and are the highest part of Bohemian Massif, stretching from Dresden in the northwest to Lower Silesia in Poland and the Moravian Gate in the Czech Republic in the east. The Sudetes' highest mountain is Mount Sněžka/Śnieżka, which is also the highest mountain of the Czech Republic, Bohemia, Silesia, and Lower Silesian Voivodeship. The Sudetes are divided into several ranges, including the Giant Mountains, Hrubý Jeseník, and Králický Sněžník Mountains, and are protected by national parks in Poland and the Czech Republic. The highest parts of the Sudetes receive high annual precipitation, with some areas receiving over 1500 mm per year.learn more on wikipedia
