Silla Kingdom

Silla was a Korean kingdom that existed from 57 BCE to 935 CE, located on the southern and central parts of the Korean Peninsula, and was one of the Three Kingdoms of Korea. It was founded by the semi-mythological figure of Hyeokgeose of Silla, and was ruled by the Miryang Park clan, the Wolseong Seok clan, and the Gyeongju Kim clan for a total of 1,000 years. Silla eventually conquered the other two kingdoms, Baekje in 660 and Goguryeo in 668, and occupied most of the Korean Peninsula, but later fragmented into the brief Later Three Kingdoms of Silla, Later Baekje, and Taebong, before handing over power to Goryeo in 935.learn more on wikipedia
