Screen Actors Guild Awards

The Screen Actors Guild Awards are given by the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists to recognize outstanding performances in movie and prime time television. The awards have been held annually since 1995 and focus on both individual performances and ensemble work. Nominations come from two committees of 2,100 union members and are voted on by the full union membership of 165,000. The awards have been telecast on TNT and TBS since 1998, but in 2022, it was announced that both networks would no longer air the awards, with Netflix taking over in 2024.
