Sanya Phoenix International Airport is an international airport serving Sanya in Hainan province, China, located 15 km northwest of the city center. It is a main airport hub covering nearly 10,000 acres, with a 3,400-meter-long runway capable of accommodating large aircraft such as the Boeing 747 and Airbus A340. The airport is the second busiest in Hainan, with several Russian airlines operating non-stop flights to Sanya since 2017, contributing to the growth of tourism from Russia in Hainan.
