Santa Anita Park

Santa Anita Park is a Thoroughbred racetrack in Arcadia, California, that hosts several prestigious horse racing events, including the Santa Anita Derby and the Santa Anita Handicap, and has also hosted the Breeders' Cup 11 times. The track was originally owned by Lucky Baldwin, a successful businessman who built a racetrack on the site in 1904, but it was closed by a state law in 1909.
