Saint Peter
Saint Peter, born as Shimon Bar Yonah around 1 AD, was one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus and a leader of the early Christian Church. He is estimated to have led the early believers from AD 30 or 33 to his death, which is believed to have occurred under Emperor Nero around 64-68 AD. According to Christian tradition, Peter was crucified in Rome and is considered the first bishop of Rome, or pope, and the founder of the Church of Antioch. The New Testament mentions Peter 19 times, and he is also mentioned in the writings of Saint Irenaeus, who explains Peter's role and his successors. The exact meaning of Peter's name, which comes from the Aramaic word "Kepha" or the Greek word "Petros", is disputed, but it is generally understood to mean "rock" or "stone".learn more on wikipedia
