SCALP/Storm Shadow
The Storm Shadow is a Franco-British low-observable, long-range air-launched cruise missile developed since 1994 by Matra and British Aerospace, now manufactured by MBDA. It has a maximum body diameter of 48 centimeters and a wingspan of three meters, weighing about 1,300 kilograms. The missile is propelled by a Microturbo TRI 60-30 turbojet engine and has a range of approximately 560 kilometers. It can be launched from various aircraft, including the Saab Gripen, Dassault Mirage 2000, and Eurofighter Typhoon, and features a BROACH warhead with a variable delay fuze. The Storm Shadow is programmed before launch and follows a semi-autonomous path to the target area, guided by GPS and terrain mapping, before diving into the target.learn more on wikipedia
