Rockefeller Center

Rockefeller Center is a complex of 19 commercial buildings covering 22 acres in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, built between 1931 and 1939. The complex was commissioned by John D. Rockefeller Jr. and was originally intended to be the site of the Metropolitan Opera, but the Met was unable to afford the project.
