Pulp Fiction
Pulp Fiction is a 1994 American independent crime film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino, telling four intertwining tales of crime and violence in Los Angeles. The film features a non-linear narrative structure, following three main interrelated stories with different protagonists: Vincent Vega, a hitman; Butch Coolidge, a prizefighter; and Jules Winnfield, Vincent's business partner. The film's eclectic dialogue, humor, and strong violence, as well as its self-referential and ironic tone, have made it a cultural watershed and a touchstone of postmodern film. Pulp Fiction was a major critical and commercial success, winning the Palme d'Or at the 1994 Cannes Film Festival and earning seven Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay.learn more on wikipedia
