Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) act

The Protecting the Right to Organize Act, also known as the PRO Act, is a proposed US law that aims to expand labor protections and strengthen employees' rights to organize and collectively bargain. The bill would amend previous labor laws, including the National Labor Relations Act, to prevent employers from holding mandatory meetings to counteract labor organization and to allow labor unions to encourage secondary strikes. It would also weaken "right-to-work" laws, which exist in 27 US states, and allow the National Labor Relations Board to fine employers for labor law violations.
