Oslo Peace Accords

The Oslo I Accord, officially known as the Declaration of Principles on Interim Self-Government Arrangements, was a framework agreement signed on September 13, 1993, between Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The agreement established a Palestinian interim self-government, the Palestinian National Authority, with responsibility for administering territory under its control, and called for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from parts of the Gaza Strip and West Bank.
