Operation Warp Speed

Operation Warp Speed was a public-private partnership initiated by the US government to accelerate COVID-19 vaccine, therapeutic, and diagnostic development. The program was headed by Moncef Slaoui and later David A. Kessler, and was officially announced on May 15, 2020, with a budget of about $10 billion from the CARES Act.
