Operation Focus

Operation Focus was the opening airstrike by Israel at the start of the Six-Day War in 1967, launched by the Israeli Air Force (IAF) on June 5, 1967. The operation destroyed the majority of the Egyptian Air Force on the ground, as well as air bases in Syria and Jordan, with a total of 452 enemy aircraft destroyed.
