Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest is the world's largest Volksfest, held annually in Munich, Bavaria, from mid-September to the first Sunday in October, attracting over six million visitors. The event features a beer festival, travelling carnival, and traditional foods, with large quantities of Oktoberfest Beer consumed, reaching 7.7 million litres in 2014. The festival originally took place over 16 days, but was modified in 1994 to run for 17-18 days, depending on the date of the first Sunday in October.
