Niagara Falls
Niagara Falls is a group of three waterfalls located on the border between Ontario, Canada and New York, United States. The largest waterfall, Horseshoe Falls, is also known as the Canadian Falls and is the most powerful in North America by flow rate. The falls were formed by the receding glaciers at the end of the Wisconsin glaciation, and have a combined flow rate of over 168,000 cubic meters per minute, with a peak flow of 6,370 cubic meters per second. The falls are a valuable source of hydroelectric power and are a popular tourist destination, attracting millions of visitors each year. The falls are also home to a diverse range of bird species, including several species of gulls that migrate and winter in the area.learn more on wikipedia
