Mount Ruang

Ruang is a stratovolcano in the Sangihe Islands arc, North Sulawesi, Indonesia, with a summit that reaches 725 metres in altitude and a lava dome formed in 1904. The volcano has had at least 16 recorded eruptions, with the first occurring in 1808, and a significant eruption in 1871 destroyed a village on the nearby island of Tagulandang, killing around 300-400 people.
