Monte Faito

Monte Faito is a mountain in the Monti Lattari chain in southwestern Italy, located on the Sorrentine Peninsula, with an elevation of 1,131 meters. It is composed of limestone rocks and features steep walls that plunge directly into the Gulf of Salerno. The mountain is named after the local dialect word "faggeto," meaning beech, due to the abundance of beech trees in the area.
