Miraflores Palace
The Miraflores Palace is the official dispatch and head office of the President of Venezuela, located in Caracas. Construction began in 1884, intended as the family residence of Joaquin Crespo, but it was acquired by the national administration in 1911 and became the official presidential residence and office. The palace has undergone several modifications and expansions, including the addition of various halls, gardens, and buildings, and has served as the residence of several presidents, including Cipriano Castro, Juan Vicente Gómez, and Rafael Caldera. It has also been the site of significant events, including the murder of Vice-president Juan Crisóstomo Gómez and the declaration of the palace as a National Historical Monument in 1979.learn more on wikipedia
