Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Center
The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) is a group of three adjacent buildings located in South Wharf, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The venue spans 70,000 square meters and features 63 meeting rooms, outdoor courtyard spaces, a Plenary that can be divided into three theatres, and 39,000 square meters of pillarless exhibition space. In 2017/18, 1,124 events were held at MCEC, attracting 950,385 delegates, and in 2018/19, the MCEC contributed over $1.10 billion to the state of Victoria's economy. The MCEC is owned and operated by the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Trust, which was established in 1994 to oversee the construction and development of the venue.
