Masters 1000
Novak Djokovic holds the record for the most Masters singles titles with 40. He achieved the career Golden Masters in 2018 by completing all nine current Masters series singles titles. Djokovic also completed a second career Golden Masters in 2020. In doubles, the Bryan brothers (Bob and Mike) won a record 39 doubles titles as a team and are the only doubles players to achieve the career Golden Masters. The ATP Masters events, known as ATP Masters 1000 tournaments since 2009, are an annual series of nine tennis tournaments featuring the top-ranked players on the ATP Tour since its inception in 1990. The Masters tournaments were introduced in 1990, replacing the Grand Prix Super Series, and have undergone several name changes, with the current name being used since 2009. The ranking points for the ATP Masters 1000 tournaments were changed in 2009 to reflect the number 1000 points earned by the winner. The current nine tournaments in the series are the Canadian Open, Italian Open, Indian Wells Open, Miami Open, Monte-Carlo Masters, Madrid Open, Cincinnati Open, Shanghai Masters, and Paris Masters.learn more on wikipedia
