Luznice River

The Lužnice is a 197.9 km long river in the Czech Republic and Austria, flowing through the South Bohemian Region and Lower Austria, with 157.7 km of its length in the Czech Republic. It is a right tributary of the Vltava River and has a drainage basin of 4,234.7 km2. The river originates in the Gratzen Mountains in Austria and flows through several settlements, including the towns of Tábor and Třeboň, before entering the Vltava River. The Lužnice flows through the Třeboň Basin, which is known for its fishponds, including the largest fishpond in the world, Rožmberk Pond.
