Lake Chad

Lake Chad is an endorheic freshwater lake located at the junction of four countries in West-Central Africa, with a catchment area of over 1 million km2. The lake is divided into deeper southern parts and shallower northern parts, with its water source mainly coming from rivers such as the Chari River.
