Kosovo war

The Kosovo War was an armed conflict that lasted from 1998 to 1999, fought between the forces of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and the Kosovo Albanian separatist militia known as the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA). The conflict began in 1998 as a campaign of repression and expulsions of Kosovar Albanians, which led to NATO intervening with an aerial bombing campaign in March 1999, and ended with the Yugoslav and Serb forces withdrawing from Kosovo in June 1999.
