Jury Prize

The Jury Prize of the Cannes Film Festival is an award given to a competing feature film. The prize was first presented in 1946 and has not been awarded on 10 occasions. It was not awarded on 10 occasions from 1947 to 1984 and 2001. The prize was shared by two films on 20 occasions. Ken Loach and Andrea Arnold have won the most awards in this category, each winning three. The award was renamed the Prix du Jury in 1967, and since then, it has had only two other names, the International Jury Prize and the Prix spécial du Jury.learn more on wikipedia
