Joint Base Andrews
Joint Base Andrews is a United States military facility located in Prince George's County, Maryland, and is under the jurisdiction of the US Air Force 316th Wing, Air Force District of Washington. The base was established in 2009 by merging Andrews Air Force Base and Naval Air Facility Washington and is named after Lieutenant General Frank Maxwell Andrews, who served as Commanding General of the US Armed Forces in the European Theater of Operations during World War II. The base is home to two Boeing VC-25 aircraft, which have the call sign Air Force One while the President of the United States is on board, and hosts several units including the 316th Wing, the 459th Air Refueling Wing, the 113th Wing, and the 89th Airlift Wing.learn more on wikipedia
