Islam
Islam is an Abrahamic monotheistic religion centered on the Quran and the teachings of Muhammad, its founder. Muslims, who number approximately 1.9 billion worldwide, believe that Islam is the complete and universal version of a primordial faith revealed through earlier prophets and messengers, including Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus. The religion is based on the belief in the oneness and uniqueness of God (tawhid) and the afterlife, with the righteous rewarded in paradise (jannah) and the unrighteous punished in hell (jahannam). The Five Pillars of Islam include the Islamic oath and creed (shahada), daily prayers (salah), almsgiving (zakat), fasting (sawm), and pilgrimage (hajj). Islamic law, sharia, touches on various aspects of life.learn more on wikipedia
