Inspiration4
Inspiration4 was a 2021 human spaceflight operated by SpaceX on behalf of Shift4 Payments CEO Jared Isaacman, which launched on September 16, 2021, and splashed down on September 18, 2021. The mission was the first orbital spaceflight with only private citizens aboard and was part of a charitable effort to raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The crew, which included Isaacman, Hayley Arceneaux, Christopher Sembroski, and Sian Proctor, all received commercial astronaut training by SpaceX and reached an orbital altitude of approximately 585 km, the highest achieved since STS-103 in 1999. The mission raised over $243 million for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, far exceeding the initial target amount.learn more on wikipedia
