Inmazeb
Atoltivimab/maftivimab/odesivimab, sold under the brand name Inmazeb, is a fixed-dose combination of three monoclonal antibodies approved for the treatment of Zaire ebolavirus infection. The treatment is a first-in-class medication and the first FDA-approved treatment for this specific virus. It was approved for medical use in the United States in October 2020. Atoltivimab/maftivimab/odesivimab works by targeting the glycoprotein on the surface of the Ebola virus, preventing it from entering host cells. Common side effects include fever, chills, tachycardia, tachypnea, and vomiting, which are also symptoms of the Ebola virus infection. The treatment is contraindicated with the concurrent administration of a live vaccine due to potential inhibition of replication and reduced efficacy.learn more on wikipedia
