Walt Disney Imagineering, a registered trademark of Disney Enterprises, Inc., is the research and development arm of The Walt Disney Company responsible for creating, designing, and constructing Disney theme parks and attractions worldwide. Founded by Walt Disney in 1952 as WED Enterprises, it was originally tasked with designing Disneyland, and was later renamed Walt Disney Imagineering in 1986.
