Humvee

The High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV), commonly known as the Humvee, is a family of four-wheel drive military trucks and utility vehicles produced by AM General. The Humvee was designed to replace multiple outdated vehicles and was primarily used by the United States military, but also by numerous other countries and organizations. The vehicle saw widespread use in the Gulf War of 1991, but its original unarmored design was later found to be inadequate, particularly vulnerable to improvised explosive devices in the Iraq War.
