Holi
Holi is a significant Hindu festival celebrated as the Festival of Colours, Love, and Spring, marking the arrival of spring in India and the end of winter. It is a time for celebration, renewal, and farewell to winter, with the festival lasting for a night and a day, starting on the evening of the Purnima (full moon day) in the Hindu calendar month of Phalguna, typically in March. Holi celebrates the eternal love of Radha and Krishna, as well as the victory of Vishnu over evil, and has spread to regions in Asia and parts of the Western world. The festival is a cultural celebration where people throw coloured water and powder at each other, and has various names in different regions, including Dol Jatra and Bôshonto Utshôb.learn more on wikipedia
