Hercules C-130
The Lockheed C-130 Hercules is a four-engine turboprop military transport aircraft designed and built by Lockheed (now Lockheed Martin). It was originally designed as a troop, medevac, and cargo transport aircraft, but its versatility has led to various roles such as gunship, airborne assault, search and rescue, scientific research support, weather reconnaissance, and aerial firefighting. The aircraft has been in continuous production for 70 years, with over 40 variants operating in more than 60 nations, including the main tactical airlifter for many military forces worldwide. The C-130 entered service with the US in 1956 and has participated in numerous military, civilian, and humanitarian aid operations, with the updated Lockheed Martin C-130J Super Hercules remaining in production as of 2024.learn more on wikipedia
