Hebrew Bible

The Hebrew Bible or Tanakh is the canonical collection of Hebrew scriptures comprising the Torah, Nevi'im, and Ketuvim. It has undergone different versions throughout history, including the 3rd-century BCE Septuagint, the Syriac Peshitta, the Samaritan Pentateuch, and the Masoretic Text compiled by the Masoretes in the 10th century CE. The current edition of the Masoretic Text is mostly in Biblical Hebrew with a few passages in Biblical Aramaic.
