Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base
Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport is an international airport in Jakarta, Indonesia, located in East Jakarta and sharing an airfield with the Indonesian Air Force's Halim Perdanakusuma air force base. The airport serves commercial, military, private, and presidential flights, with a capacity of about 5.6 million passengers in 2016. It was previously a major civilian airport, serving international routes until the opening of Soekarno–Hatta International Airport in 1985, and later handled charter flights and general aviation. In 2013, the airport began serving scheduled flights, and by 2014, it had a capacity of up to 2.2 million passengers per year. The airport is currently undergoing renovation, with domestic flights temporarily relocated to Soekarno–Hatta International Airport or Pondok Cabe Airport.learn more on wikipedia
