GoldenEye
GoldenEye is a 1995 spy film starring Pierce Brosnan as James Bond and directed by Martin Campbell. The film is the first in the James Bond series not to use any story elements from the works of Ian Fleming and was also the first not produced by Albert R. Broccoli, following his stepping down from Eon Productions. The story follows Bond as he investigates the theft of a Soviet-era satellite armed with a nuclear electromagnetic pulse space-based weapon, which has been used to destroy a Russian radar facility, and uncovers a plot by a rogue ex-MI6 agent, 006, to use the satellite to cause a global financial meltdown. The film was a commercial and critical success, grossing over $356 million worldwide and receiving positive reviews from critics, with Brosnan viewed as a worthy successor to Sean Connery's portrayal of Bond.learn more on wikipedia
