Gare Du Nord

The Gare du Nord is one of the seven large mainline railway station termini in Paris, France, and is the busiest railway station in Europe by total passenger numbers. The current station was designed by Jacques Ignace Hittorff and was constructed between 1861 and 1864, replacing an earlier and much smaller terminal station that operated from 1846 to 1860.
