Fullerton Municipal Airport

Fullerton Municipal Airport is a regional relief airport in Orange County, California, owned and operated by the City of Fullerton. It has one runway and one heliport, covering 86 acres, and handles an average of 262 operations per day. The airport has a control tower that was the first in Orange County when it was built in 1959. Aviation Facilities Inc. (AFI Flight Training) is located on the south side of the field. The airport has a history dating back to 1913, when barnstormers and crop dusters used a makeshift landing strip, and has hosted notable events such as a world flight endurance record in 1949 and the filming of the movie Hell's Angels in 1929.learn more on wikipedia
